Being responsible for the well being and safety of my clients, has taught me that for the duration of the tour, the sole, direct contact person is the driver-guide and that the final perception of success or short falling of the journey depends on his capacity and disposition to resolve problems, ease concerns, whether mayor or minor, and being generally supportive. Therefore, my most gratifying experience is when people who came to me as clients leave as friends. That means, I did my job well. Years of traveling every road in Ethiopia from North to South and East to West, taking care of my clients, trying to offer a little “extra” which might mark the difference between a normal tour and an unforgettable one, have given me the experience and qualifications to launch myself as an independent operator.
